“Whatever an education is, it should make you a unique individual, not a conformist; it should furnish you with an original spirit with which to tackle the big challenges; it should allow you to find values which will be your roadmap through life; it should make you spiritually rich, a person who loves whatever you are doing, wherever you are, whomever you are with; it should teach you what is important, how to live and how to die.”

Student-Centered Learning
At Mosaic, we are passionate about helping students discover their individual strengths and interests. We focus on the learning process, not performance-based metrics, in a nurturing and intellectually-stimulating environment. Our student-centered approach in the classroom fosters a growth mindset which allows students to confidently develop at their own pace and gain a sense of their own unique learning style. Our format also encourages students to develop personal responsibility for their education and to engage thoughtfully with peers.
Small Class Size
We strive to build a community of inquisitive learners that can easily and comfortably engage with one another in a small group setting. Students interact closely with each other, frequently participate in group discussions, and are expected to possess a certain level of independence appropriate for their age. In order to maintain the highest quality experience for our students, class sizes are kept as small as possible.
Facilitator-Led, Inquiry-Based
Most regular (non-enrichment) classes are ninety-minutes in length, however, classes are not lecture driven. The role of the facilitator is to present information and ideas in a manner that inspires each student to want to know more about a given subject. Many classes are project-based and provide hands-on opportunities to explore different topics at a deeper level, increasing understanding and elevating students' awareness of the world around them.
