Mosaic Freeschool is a homeschool support group that offers families the flexibility of a one day per week drop-off program where parents are not required to facilitate a class. Please read the following admissions information carefully.
Application for Admission
Parents must fill out an Admissions Application to start the enrollment process. You will receive an email to schedule a day visit for your student (or an in-person interview if we receive your application over the summer months).
Day Visit and Student Evaluation
Students are evaluated as individuals. Acceptance of a student does not constitute acceptance of another family member. All prospective students are required to visit for one full day during the semester and/or arrange an interview with the director prior to the start of any regular fifteen-week semester.
Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct simply states that all students are expected to be respectful of their facilitators and fellow students at all times. Repeated disruptions or refusal to follow instructions may be cause for dismissal. In addition, students should not miss more than two classes per semester unless prior arrangements are made with the class facilitator. By enrolling in any Mosaic Freeschool class you agree to be bound by our Code of Conduct.
Consensus
After the day visit and/or interview with the director the student may request enrollment in our program. As part of our consensus process, facilitators will meet to discuss extending an invitation. Mosaic Freeschool reserves the right to grant admission only to students, who in our sole judgment, are compatible with our independent homeschool program.
