Students will leave the class with:

- The ability to identify symbolism in this ancient text which they will use to make connections to characters (who are they? How does this item they have/hold represent who they are, and why?...)
- The ability to thoroughly analyze the characters, structure, and themes of classical Greek drama and epic poetry.
